Hamid Afeef Elected as President of RAM

During the 3rd Electoral Congress held on February 15, 2023, the Restaurant Association of Maldives (RAM) elected renowned businessman and restaurateur Mr. Hamid Afeef as the association’s new President. A prominent figure in the Maldivian food and beverage industry, Mr. Afeef has been one of the chief founding members of RAM since its inception in 2009.

Mr. Afeef brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having dedicated 23 years to the restaurant industry. He is also the Chairman of Dhon Manik Investment Pvt Ltd and serves as the Managing Director of Dhon Manik Restaurants, where his leadership has earned him widespread recognition as a key player in the sector.

Expressing his commitment to leading RAM, Mr. Afeef said, “I am honored to have been entrusted with this position and am dedicated to driving the association’s efforts to further enhance the restaurant industry in the Maldives. Together, we aim to ensure a thriving and sustainable future for all our members.”
